Hire Vue developers

Vue here is small but growing, which is the opposite of what most agencies will tell you about it. At least 8,300 hours across six client products, three past a thousand hours — and all three of those started in 2025 and are still running, with two or three developers each. One is a marketplace for soil and aggregates in construction, one a consumer app with payments and social features. This is a practice we are adding people to, not one we are winding down.

Seven Vue roles since 2021, five of them closed with a hire, at a median of 28 days from opening the role to a signed offer and 19 days from a candidate’s first conversation to accepting. Four of those roles were opened in 2025 or later and two are open right now, so the pipeline is warm. With three Vue developers on client work today, a match is possible but a short search is more likely.

The same rule as anywhere: it works when the team stays. Vue codebases tend to be pragmatic rather than ceremonial — plenty of Options API beside Composition API, a store that grew rather than was designed — and that history is cheap to live with and expensive to explain. Our Vue products have kept the same two or three developers since they started in 2025. Ask any vendor how long their people have been on one codebase.

Two to three developers per product, which covers everything our Vue engagements have needed so far. They usually sit next to a backend our own people run — PHP or Node on most of these products — so a change that crosses the API does not have to cross a vendor boundary too. We are a reasonable answer for a team of that size and an unreasonable one if you need eight Vue engineers next month.

Hire for the one your codebase is already written in; migrating a working front end is rarely the cheapest thing you can do with that money. If you are starting from nothing, React is the deeper practice here by a wide margin — at least 214,000 hours against Vue’s 8,300 — and that difference matters for how fast we can staff you and re-staff you later. Vue is the better answer when your team already knows it or when the application is a self-contained interface rather than a large product front end.
